Very Cartoon Silvermane

    This character reference still needs some work as far as how he should be put together.  But mostly he is what I am looking for.  I just need to do a few more modifications before I am happy with what I have.   Made with Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 6.  It was not exactly easy, I only had a mouse and some drawing tools to make him.  I used a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic tutorial as a template, but this never was meant as a fan art.  I just wanted a reference for a very cartoon pony.

In the original style, he is not quite cartoon enough.  Still working on the details, but I am getting closer to what I want all the time.

    Silvermane is my original character that I might write a story about someday.  I keep turning him over in my head trying to make him better and more like what I see in my head.  I think with enough trial and error I will finally figure out what he needs to look like.  Mostly I am satisfied with his look, just needs a few minor fixes here and there.

    Interesting facts about Silvermane and his kind:
    Silvermane's species name is Triphibious Hippocampus Unicornus.  He has three basic forms.  The one you see here is his full equine form with his fin-wings all grown out.  He can shrink them into little dorsal fins if he wants to.  He can also shift into a bipedal anthro form and a anthro water form.  He can breath both air and underwater.  Also it is the males that carry the offspring to term.  A quirk inspired by real seahorses.  Females will lay one to four eggs into their internal brood pouch.  One egg is more common.  They all have magic powers universal to their kind, but each individual also has an extra talent.  Silvermane's is water control.  His mate Violet's is super speed.
