Celestial Wind Whorl

Okay, this design is not perfect, but it turned out very well for a practice run.  If I had more time I would redo the whole thing on better paper and fix all the flaws in the design I accidentally placed there and do one more black and white version and one colored version.  The colored version will have darkest indigo blue one the inner whorl and on the inner and outer bands.  All the fields will be brightest white.  The stars are brightest golden yellow.   The waves would be rich true blue and so would be the diamond patterns in the white fields.  The diamond patterns in the dark fields would just be bright white.  And all the circles would be shining metallic gold.  I have already though of some interesting variations on this design that I have written down on the back of this paper.  This design became so much more than I first expected, it literally started out as a scrawled doodle on a piece of note paper in Sharpie pen.  Sort of started to talk to me from there when I started to refine it.  Each element I used practcally yelled at me, yes that is right each time I figured out what I should do next.  I do not know when I will be able to do more submissions.  I have to concentrate on my homework more than art.  But I will get there eventually, I can't stop completely.  I am an artist to the core, I must draw, doodle, create!  Use this design as a stamp or draw on anything it will look good on.  People that see these keep saying tattoo.  I think plates, bowls, embroidery...well, you get the idea.
